In 2007, we had this two story sunflower processing barn moved to our farm from Sheldon, ND. Our goal is, over the next several years, to renovate it into an event barn.  It is a simple classic Midwest barn and hopefully we can carry its beauty into a functional clean, bright, and open location for gatherings, weddings, family reunions, company picnics, fall festivals, etc.

As of 2011, we have power and water and, as you can see, a nice paint job - thanks Karen Bakke! We are working on adding a kitchen, bathrooms, and a dance floor. Yes, it is a big project, but one we really enjoy and hopefully others will too.
